How many of you use Technorati?

If you’ve used Technorati then you’ll understand why I’m posting this little note about it. You see, in order to get your blog listed in your technorati profile you have to go through the claim process proving that you are who you say that you are and that you are the owner of the blog that you say is yours.
One way to claim your blog is to go through their quick claim process where you type in your blog’s user name and password. I tried to do that tonight but for some reason technorati seems to think that I don’t know my user name OR password. So I’ve decided to attempt to claim my blog through the posting process.
We’ll see how it goes. In the meantime if you use technorati I sure would love to get some feedback on it. What are some of your favorite things about technorati? What are some things you could do without when it comes to technorati?

I use technorati and it seems to be ok. It is kind of like some of the other blog directories out there where people can find your blogs. I go to it, but not every day. You can ping your blogs from there as well, but I mostly like using pingomatic or pingoat instead.
So far I think my favorite social networking tools are MyBlogLog and Stumble! Lately I’ve been giving Twitter a try only because it’s so different from the rest. Thanks for leaving a mark here on Checkup Today!
I’m in technorati, but I could barely tell you what it does. I’m still learning so much about all the social networks and ways to meet new people. I do like MyBlogLog and StumbleUpon. They seem to be the most used on my site at the moment. But, I’m trying to make the rounds and get to know all the social networking concepts.

I have recently added the Twitter feature to my Domestic Divapalooza blog and find that to be of interest at the moment.
I just wish that those using twitter would add the same widget to their blogs so we can all get more added exposure.
